Are you interested in volunteering with the Emerson Umbrella? All of our programs utilize and, indeed, depend on volunteers. Young volunteers assist teachers in our summer education program, Summer Arts Under the Umbrella, as “art camp counselors” and CITs. Others assist in front of house, box office, and as ushers during shows in our Emerson Umbrella Presents… series. We also rely on volunteers to build and paint sets, provide backstage support, manage costumes and props, and even to perform. Our Musketaquid Arts and Environment program relies on volunteers each year to help put on its Earth Day Celebration and other related programs.
Be part of a creative, friendly community of artists, teachers, musicians, students, and other volunteers. Contact us about the many types of volunteer projects we have to offer. Learn, stretch your imagination, and put more culture in your life while you make a difference in the community. We ALSO welcome students looking to fulfill high school community service requirements. Look for volunteer project listings on our web site, call us at 978-371-0820 or email firstname.lastname@example.org.
