The Emerson Umbrella Gallery Exhibition program is an exciting and vital program reflective of the breadth of talent of both our resident artists and those of the larger community. We present approximately ten exhibitions per year including curated, juried and non-juried exhibitions, and work by local, regional and national artists. Annual exhibitions include our Winter Market and Open Studios exhibitions (in December and April respectively), which feature work by artists who have studios in the Emerson Umbrella; an annual Faculty Exhibition, which celebrates the work of the professional artists who teach classes at the Umbrella; and the Earth Month Exhibit, an open, non-juried exhibition which accepts work from children and adults, and both professional and amateur artists, mounted in conjunction with Musketaquid Arts and Environment’s Earth Day Celebration.
The Emerson Umbrella Gallery also welcomes proposals for exhibitions by emerging and established local and regional artists. Please click here for the Exhibition Proposal form with guidelines for submission.
The gallery is open to the general public at no charge.
