IN THE THEATER:

Concord Youth Theatre presents

Stephen Sondheim’s
INTO THE WOODS

An ambivalent Cinderella? A bloodthirsty Little Red Riding Hood? A Prince Charming with a roving eye? A Witch...who raps? They're among the cockeyed characters in this irreverent frantasy in the style of The Princess Bride. A Baker and his wife embark on a quest to find objects to break a Wicked Witch's curse. Along the way, they meet Cinderella, Jack, Rapunzel and so many others, and their tales becomes a moving lesson about community responsibility and the stories we tell our children.

Recommended for age 8 and older.

25th Anniversary Birthday Bash!

We are excited to host the Emerson Umbrella’s Gala 25th Anniversary Birthday Bash on March 29th at the Nashawtuc Country Club. If you have not received an invitation, please notify us immediately! The cost of your dinner ticket is an investment in the future of the Umbrella through our capital restoration program, with primary focus on renovating our theatre and updating our energy system. We are delighted by the strong community support from gala sponsors to date.

The 25th Anniversary Gala will recognize the founders of the Emerson Umbrella. Jack Clymer has agreed to accept Emerson Umbrella’s first Community Stewardship Award. Jack has been exceptionally active in the town’s civic life and for many years served as a board member and advisor to the Umbrella.

Please order your tickets today as we have limited capacity for dinner seating. The evening will feature dinner, music and dancing, and silent and live auctions. Tickets are available for dinner, and for dancing and silent auction only. Please click here for details, or contact Stephen Sorkin by email or by phone at 978.371.0828 for tickets and more information.
