| Artists of all ages and experience are invited to participate
in the Musketaquid Earth Month Exhibition, a non-juried show that
will run in the Blanchard Trust Gallery at the Emerson Umbrella
from April 19 to May 18, 2008. We welcome craft and fine art in
two or three dimensions, as well as prose, poetry, sound, and video.
This year our theme is Message on the Wind: Call and Response,
exploring, among other things, local responses to global warming
and climate change. Work should relate to the theme and in some
way be inspired by the nature of this place, Musketaquid, “the place
where the water runs through the grasses.” We invite you to submit
a brief artist’s statement with commentary about your work in relation
to the theme.
The registration deadline for artists to submit work is Monday,
