CLASSES
GENERAL INFORMATION
Each year, over 1,200 children and adults enroll in Emerson Umbrella’s 175 classes and workshops. From drawing, painting, sculpture, pottery, stained glass, and mixed media art, to dance, movement, yoga, and wellness, to drama, art history, and creative writing, we offer something for everyone. Our courses are taught by professional artists with years of teaching experience. We also offer extremely popular summer and school vacation programs.

WEATHER CANCELLATIONS
All Emerson Umbrella classes follow the Concord Public Schools and Town of Concord closings, delays, and holidays. No classes will be held on Concord Public School snow days and holidays. In the event of a delayed opening of the Concord Public Schools, all morning classes at Emerson Umbrella will be cancelled; classes beginning after 12noon will run on schedule. Make-up classes will be scheduled. Please check your local news source for the most up to date information.

POLICIES
PAYMENT: A program spot is reserved only when payment is received. Tuition must be paid in full at the time of registration. Tuition includes a $15 non-refundable registration fee. The preferred method of payment is by credit card online using Paypal and Family ID. If it is necessary to register with the Emerson Umbrella office accepted payment options are VISA, MasterCard, check or money order payable to the Emerson Umbrella Center for the Arts, and cash.
BEHAVIOUR: The Director of Education reserves the right to dismiss a student from the program when, in his sole judgment, the student’s behavior interferes with the rights of others, the smooth functioning of the group or the activity.
MEDIA CONSENT: Emerson Umbrella programs are occasionally photographed or videotaped. Enrollment in a program authorizes Emerson Umbrella to have, use, publish, and reproduce photographs, slides, moving pictures, or video of you or your children and/or artwork for it promotional and public relations purposes. Please contact us if you do not want you or your child to be photographed or such photographs to be published.
ACCESSIBILITY: All areas of our building are wheelchair accessible. A wheelchair accessible bathroom is located on the third floor. Wheelchair access and handicapped parking are located on the right side of the building at the rear. Hearing impaired people may call voice/TDD 1.800.439.0183 for assistance.
REFUND POLICY: Tuition, less a $15 registration fee, will be refunded through the second week of the session. No refunds will be issued thereafter.
TUITION ASSISTANCE: Tuition assistance for students with financial need is available. Please contact the Education Director at 978.371.0820
